Legendary bassist Jonas Hellborg joined forces with Warwick to create a line of amplifiers and speaker cabinets that are truly unique and unlike anything you have ever experienced before. The keystone to this series is the Hellborg Preamp. Designed around the amazing recording decks of the 70's, the Hellborg Preamp provides bassists with a high-definition sonic experience that is both warm and well defined. "Throughout my years of reviewing bass gear I had never come across anything really unique...that is, until I got my paws on the new Hellborg preamp. Jonas Hellborg and the Warwick team have created a preamp that is unlike anything I have experienced before. The Hellborg Preamp is truly 'High Definition' bass processing. The signal is crystal clear, yet warm and organic sound. I must admit that I did not completely understand the meaning of the ' coil-based' EQ, but I can tell you that it is the strongest, most musical EQ I have ever used. I am struggling trying to find the words to truly express how cool the Hellborg Preamp is, but I am afraid you will just need to try it for yourself. It will blow your mind."
