The X-treme bass head is both the Beauty and the Beast, all in one unit! The beauty is found in the incredible voicing and EQ section, which gives players the ability to shape their sound in a myriad of ways. The beast is found in the beefy 1000 watts (at 4 ohms) of MOSFET power, which is clean, clear and devastating. There are several other features - like the switchable and adjustable onboard compressor - which pro players will rejoice over and find that they cannot live without. Hands-on Review

"I have found bass amp Nirvana and it is called the X-treme 10.1 solid state bass head by Warwick! Finally I have an amp that gives me precise control over my tone, and also a surplus of power so that I can rattle the fillings in the teeth of the guy in the last row. I am particularly impressed with the unique Voicing section that Warwick created for this amp. The Bottom, Contour, Growl and Attack knobs literally change the character of your tone, above and beyond the EQ stage. When you first plug in your new X-treme 10.1, I strongly suggest that you set the four EQ knobs to the 12 o'clock position and spend time trying out different voicing adjustments. This will help you to understand what each control does.

The EQ balance knob is another ingenius feature from Warwick. You see, once you get an EQ set-up that you like, you can use the EQ balance to dial in how much of the EQ curve gets applied to your signal. I found this to be a very easy way to modify my tone from rehearsal room to venue, without tweaking the parametric EQ. It amazes me that other companies have not thought of this.

Warwick is truly one of the premier amp manufacturers in the world today and the X-treme 10.1 is the perfect example why."
